John for Model Number DLE 2240S Hi , my dryer stop heating a couple of days ago, Im fairly mechanical, so I took it apart . Check the thermal fuse , heating element, and the high limit thermostat, check fuses in the fuse box for continuity there good but replace them anyway (220V plugin). Could it be the moisture sensore bar, put a wet towel in after I reassembled still no heat but seem to shut off after 10 to 15 minutes. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thankyou John
Answer Hello John. Either the motor or the timer is the issue. One is not sending 120 volts to the heater. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
