Cassie for Model Number GE PB68soh2 On Christmas Eve we turned on our electric oven to make cookies for santa. We noticed a horrible greenish smoke coming from the oven and fire and sparks by the bottom element. We shut it all down and got replacements elements for both top and bottom. While replacing them I noticed that the insulation surrounding both elements was charred. What could have caused this. Is the oven alright to continue using?
Answer Hello Cassie. That is fine. It is from the heat of the elements. Insulation will do that. You should be fine to use the unit. Thank you. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, January 8, 2018
