Linda for Model Number CRE9500CCM Our Baking Coil in the oven has littery come apart...it has circles around the burnt element...there is also a insulation burn on the light bulb connection to the oven lite....are they connected...should we repace the light fixture...what would cause the problem with the coil.....thanks Lin
Answer Linda, The bake elements are suseptible, to grease platter and spill overs, and that is the most likely situation in your case, sometimes it takes quite a while to develop and build up, enough to damage the element. As long as the insulation is discolored and not singed, you'll be fine. Discoloration is a normal byproduct of heat from the oven and heat from the light bulb. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
