Randhir for Model Number cre9300ccl My bake element was burning, I mean was literely on fire, and element was melted. I know I can replace the element. I want to know what might have caused the fire and melt the element. Is it ok to replace the element, and it would not happen again? I mean it will not be on fire. Thanks.
Answer Hello Randhir. Usually the element catches on fire from a grease spill. It can get some grease or chemical on it and will blaze up and melt. You should be ok to replace the element, but if more grease gets on it, it will do it again. This is with any type of baking element. Hope this helps. Read More...
