Brad Is this the same aftermarket (SUPCO) part that Amazon sells? I ask because many people say that part does not fit correctly and allows lint to get by. I want a replacement with a perfect fit.
Answer Brad, this is a direct manufacturer part. Sadly, there is not going to be a "perfect" fitting lint filter that stops lint from getting by. The only way to have a filter completely prevent lint from getting by, a complete air flow restriction would occur and prevent the unit from operating properly. The purpose of the lint filter is not to completely stop lint from getting by, but rather to minimize the amount that passes through the unit. Read More...
