Glenn for Model Number GLP84800 I need to replace the bottom bake element on model Whirlpool Gold 84800. I have the part. I have removed the small back plate which exposes the wires, but I still don't see connectors for bake element. Do I need to remove the entire back plate too, which would mean disconnecting lots of wires and about 20 screws?
Answer Hello Glenn. On some of these you have to remove the side panel. Trace the bake wires and see where the wires are going. Once you locate the element, you should be able to remove it easily.
