Dick for Model Number W10190935 Ice Maker Module Just received the Ice maker Module for my Whirlpool GS6SHEX NS00 refrig. Installed module, however, after several cycles to purge air from supply line, it does not fill. Only the first two or three cube slots fill. The module does not allow the valve to stay open lone enough. What can be done to lengthen time the supply valve is opened? If this is a problem with valve, I would like to have it replaced.
Answer Dick, If the icemaker is not filling up enough then this would most likely not be a issue with the icemaker module. The icemaker will only call for water for about 7 seconds and you will want to make sure that there is a good water filter in the unit and if this is good then it sounds like a issue with the water valve.
