Rosie for Model Number GD5VVAXTY02 When the icemaker fills with water, it runs in too much water, so water runs down and drips on the shelves and freezes in a thin sheet on the bottom of the freezer. Does it need a new Water Volume Control Unit? Or can i adjust it to put less water into the ice cube tray?
Answer Rosie, With this issue it would be more likely that the icemaker is not leaking but would be that the drain on the freezer under the evaporator coil is frozen.
