John S for Model Number jenn air jgs9900cds My gas burner igniter will not stop igniting. It clicks continuously with all of the burner switches in the off position. The only way to stop the ignition clicking is to unplug the stove. Is there a sending unit I can buy for replacement to fix this problem? Thanks John Sevilla
Answer John, The igniter itself, is not the issue. You will need to access the burner gas valves and check the ignition switches WP74011647,WP74011648 for a "closed circuit, when the valves are in the off position, or a shorted switch. If the switches check proper, you'll need the spark module WPW10475147, these are the components that make the igniter spark. Read More...
