Mike Ma for Model Number CAE2743BA0 Whirlpool Apologies in advance, I am not mechanically inclined. Usually, when the correct coins are inserted, the coin slider sends a signal to the mainboard to allow power and operation of the washer. That is no longer working despite the correct coin insertions. The wire coming out of the back of the coin slider that connects to the main board needs to be manually connected and disconnected in order to operate the washing machine. We have just replaced the motherboard, which is brand new, but he problem remains. I am just guessing, but the fault perhaps rests with the coin slider's communication. Is the part responsible for this called the coin slider interface? Or another name?
Answer Mike, Yes the coin slider interface WPW10491734 will be the most likely cause for this issue. The other thing that will need to be checked is the wire harness between the coin slider and the interface. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, January 13, 2017
