Dorian for Model Number MMV6180WS1 I am looking for an LED or 130v option for a replacement bulb for under the mircowave/light that shines on the stove. I have already had to replace this bulbs 2x in less than a 4 month period. My home has power surges greater than 125v at times and needs a higher volts bulb or LED, could you please help? I've already purchased. Whirlpool 8206232A Light Bulb and it has blown in 43 days.
Answer Hello Dorian, The only part we can recommend is the one the manufacturer recommends 8206232A. This is the one the unit is designed to use. If the bulbs are burning out prematurely, I would recommend checking for a loose receptacle or a voltage issue to the home from the transformer, (this can be checked with a voltmeter at the receptacles in the home and corrected by the local utility board).
