David I have the mh1150xmb1 microwave. When it was new the bulb that came with it had two different brightnesses. A low and high. When it burned out I went to home depot and gave them the model number etc.. and they gave me a bulb. I have tried a few other places since then but all the bulbs I buy only have a single brightness. You list this bulb as being for my microwave but I wanted to ask about the brightness and if it will do what the factory bulb did? Thanks.
Answer Hello David, the model number brings up a substitution bulb part 8206232A. This bulb has a certain amount of resistance that the control board works with to adjust the brightness. The bulb you bought at your local hardware store might not meet the required resistance for the board to adjust properly. Hope this helps! Read More...
