Marie The instruction booklet for my Whirlpool microwave states the part number for the over the stove light bulb is 4393681 candelabra base 30 watts. This bulb states it cross references with my part # but this bulb is 40 watts. If it is a 40 watt, is it safe to use it in my microwave if the booklet and sticker on the oven says 30 watts maximum?
Answer Hello Marie, If this part is crossing by the manufacturer, it will be fine. We only use manufacturers' part crosses so if you would like us to verify, please provide the model number from the units' I.D. tag. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.
