Greg for Model Number WMH31017HZ Just rec'd new whirlpool appliance suite. The "over the range" microwave's "underneath" lamp doesn't shed enough light onto the range or the counter beside the range which we use for chopping etc. I took the bulb out and see its a 40 Watt. Can I replace it with a higher wattage bulb (that will still fit into the allowable space) and not burn up the unit? If so, do you have such a higher wattage bulb for sale? Thank you in advance. Greg
Answer Greg, I cannot recommend putting a larger wattage bulb in the socket, you may try putting a LED bulb in it's place to see if the lighting is any better. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, August 1, 2018
