Mark for Model Number eti8pkxgw0 1 We plugged this in a few days and it was running fine. Yesterday my wife noticed the freeze box was working but the fridge wasn't getting that cold. This morning everything was off, like it was getting no power but than it comes back on and is on right now. Not sure what part we need for this. Thank you, Mark
Answer Mark, For a unit to shut of and come back on about 30 minutes later would be the unit going through the defrost cycle. With the refrigerator section not cooling properly you will want to make sure that the evaporator coils behind the freezer wall are not impacted with ice which would be caused by a defrost failure. At this point you will want to check continuity of the defrost heater and defrost bimetal. If either do not have continuity then the part that has no continuity would need to be replaced.
