Steve for Model Number ED5RHEXMT00 Had to replace comp. start device (WPL 8201786) - fried - and now filter light flashing on and off (hear defrost cntrl bd). Note condenser fan turned on prior to replacement and had airflow in frig. Examined defrost cntrl bd - looked fine - and replaced only comp. start relay. Any ideas - replace defrost cntrl bd? Thanks
Answer Steve, if you have attempted to reset the water filter system (Style 1: Press the light switch 5 times within 10 seconds. The status light will change from red to green. Style 2 : Press and hold the water filter reset button until the status light turns green.
