John S for Model Number Kenmore 592022990 I moved this unit to a new location 4 miles away. When I plugged it in in the garage, it tripped the GFI and won't start. The power cord is not damaged. Why won't the unit run?
Answer Hello John, It is not recommended to plug unit into a GFCI. Try plugging into an outlet that is not GFCI and see if it operates. If not then you will want to do an amp draw on the red wire that goes to start relay. Amp draw should be no higher than 8.5amps.
