John for Model Number whirlpool wed5300vw0 dryer My drying sensor got pulled loose from the back of the dryer drum. How is this piece held into the drum and is it a DIY level skill? if so i may need to order the part from you guys.
Answer John, This repair is not that difficult, and a basic "do it yourselfer" can perform it. In your case you may have to raise the top and "fish" the sensor bar wires back into the tumbler, through the opening in the rear bulkhead. Then attach them to the terminals on the sensor bars, and mount the assembly with the screw and clip. Mkae sure the bulkhead and screw hole were not danaged when the sensor assembly was pulled out of the wall. Thanks Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, November 6, 2012
