Answer Clyde, The filter signal is there to represent lower air flow than normal. The filter needing to be cleaned would be one reason for this and the other would be a clogged venting system. Try to take the hose off the back of the unit and see if the filter buzzer still comes on. If it does then the blockage is on the dryer side, maybe in the blower wheel.
