Diane for Model Number KUDI24SEWH1 The other day when opening the door I heard a pop. Now the door just drops when I open it so I assume after reading comments on this site that the spring broke. I have ordered a new one from you folks and hoping to get my local handyman to replace it. I am a senior and a widow and unable to do work that is exerting. The unit is an under the counter KitchenAid and I have no idea how to pull it out if that was what is needed to replace the spring. I wonder if I could access through the bottom panel to replace the spring and save the cost of the handyman making a home visit? Thanks a lot, Diane
Answer Diane, Unfortunately the unit will need to be pulled out from under the counter in order to replace the door spring. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 22, 2014
