Jerry for Model Number WFW72HEDW (new Washer) NED7300WW (old Dryer) I have a delivery of a whirlpool duet 4.2 cu. ft. front loading washing machine comming this thurs. I currantly am keeping the Amana 6.7 cu. ft. elect. dryer. The stacking kit for the dryer is 8572546 or AP3866331. The stacking kit for the new washer is W10298318RP. Both stacking kits look simular. Can you tell me if the old or new stacking kit will work. I am hoping it will as Whirlpool and Amana are the same company.
Answer Jerry, It does appear that the stack kits are the same but since you already have stack kit 8572546 you can try it to see if it works. The brackets that are in the kit are smaller than the other and may work. It will also depend on where the connection points are on the washer and dryer on whether they will line up or not.
