Pt for Model Number Maytag CSG7000CAB for the ignition switches - is see they are all wired together. If I buy the replacement part, am I getting all 4? I don't see how to unwire the switches since it looks like the wires are inside the switch bodies. Thanks for your help - PT matyag stove top CSG7000CAB
Answer PT, The ignition switches are individual components, so you will need to order the number needed to replace the damaged switch(s). You will need to remove power to the cooktop, and once you get access to the switches, you'll need to use a small straightened metal paper clip or similar "tool". You'll need to insert the paperclip into the opening with the wires until the internal locking tab is released and tug out on the wires to remove them. to install the wires just insert them into the opening as far as possible, then tug out lightly on the wire to make sure it is "locked" in place.
