Phyllis for Model Number AKH30-P8597801S I have an Amana Glass Top Stove with a burner that will only burn on high. I presume I need to replace the surface control switch...is that correct? Does one switch control all 4 burners or are there multiple switches? Are parts guaranteed and what is your return policy?
Answer Phyllis, You're correct on all counts. Each burner element has an individual control switch C2740701 and if a burner "sticks" on high or low settings it's usually a bad switch.Unfortunately, the switch needed to repair your cooktop, is "o longer available"(based on the model and production number you supplied), The switch you listed in your post may be a satisfactory replacement. All parts purchased from APP are guaranteed for 365 days from date of purchase, and there is a 365 day "no hassle" return policy for any part,(you'll be responsible for return shipping). Read More...
