Hello Wantadry, The only thing that will cause the thermal fuse to open is excessive temperature. If the ducting is a full four inch diameter, there are no clogs or crimps, and it is not excessively long, (equivalent to 25 feet or less), the only thing it can be is a seal/seals allowing the heated air to re-enter the unit cabinet instead of exiting the appliance. I would have included some part numbers as examples but have no idea what unit you have in your home. The model number you listed was for a refrigerator. You will need to get the dryer model number from the units' I.D. tag most likely located inside the door on the front panel.
