Dan for Model Number MEDE300VW0 Several weeks ago the dryer stopped working. Upon investigation I found the Primary Control board was fried. I replaced the board and the dryer began working, unfortunately it runs 10 minutes and shuts off. I ran the diagnostic test as per tech sheet and got F28 error code. I replaced the moisture sensor but the problem still persists. What would you recommend the problem could be? I don't know if I should replace the thermistor or the machine control electronic board. Answer Hello Dan. This fault code appears ONLY when in the Diagnostic Test Mode. It sounds like the motor may be overheating. If the dryer has to sit a few minutes and cool off before it runs again, then the motor is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...
