Chad for Model Number LEA30AW Our dryer is running too hot. It is too the point that the clothes are too hot too touch. From your site I am seeing a couple of different types of thermostats, I am not sure if my dryer has more than one or if there is one that does it all. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Answer Chad, One of the first things to check would be the venting of the unit to make sure that it is not clogged. This can trap in heat and cause longer dry times along with making the clothes too hot to touch. If the venting checks ok then the most likely cause for the issue would be a faulty cycling thermostat which is located on the side of the blower housing.
