Kevin for Model Number Kenmore 400 dryer I am replacing the heating element in my kenmore 400 dryer. The part I received includes a high limit thermostat that doesn’t quite look like the original one. It has two prongs instead of an L shaped connector at the bottom with a small prong attaching to a small wire. Can I still use this thermostat? Is there a way to connect this one correctly? Thanks in advance.
Answer Kevin, Yes, the high limit can be used and you would just need to have a jumper wire going from the thermostat to the other terminal on the heating element. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, February 18, 2021
