Travis, It's probably something else, Probably a crossed or loose wire at the motor, or the motor itself has failed 279827. In order to heat the motor has to run and close the heat circuit (1M to 2M) in the motor centrifugal switch. This supplies the L2 120 VAC to the heater element. If the heater is on and the motor not running then the switch is "stuck" or the switch circuit is shorted.
