Customer Questions and Answers for Dryer Timer Control by Whirlpool

Hi Drc. The timer is part# WP8566184. There is a wiring diagram in the back of the controls folded up. Remove power. Remove knob. Remove back panel screws. Unscrew the front screws holding the timer. It may have a latch that you unclasp from the rear. Black from power to "BK" on the timer. Blue wire to "BU" @ timer. Violet to "V' on timer. White to "W". Tan to "T'. White w/black stripe to "WB". Blue /black to "BB". Red wire to "R". Reassemble in reverse. Thank You.
