Ray for Model Number mgd5700tq My dryer wont heat up. Changed element thermostat and fuses and door switch. Could it be the timer?
Answer Hello Ray. Yes, if the timer or the motor is bad, it can prevent the dryer from heating. You need to make sure there is 240 volts coming to the dryer at the terminal block. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
