Albert for Model Number LEP6848ANO My Whirlpool electric dryer starts and dries fine but the timer does not advance to the off position for any cycle. Is the timer bad or another part associated with the timer?
Answer Hello Albert. Test and see if there is power coming to the timer motor. If so, and the timer does not turn, you will need to replace the timer assembly WP3397273. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
