Mark for Model Number LEB6200PQ0 Heat element stays on with the door open. Element will not shut off until I turn the timer to the off position. Sometimes the timer will keep on turning past the off position bringing on the element again even with the door open. If the timer is put on the "Casual" setting, it will not turn at all. I'm almost convinced it's the timer, but could there be another problem?
Answer Hi Mark. If your dryer shuts off when the door opens then your switch may be OK. If not then you need switch part # WP3406107. Your timer may have taken a power surge during a storm.
