Steve for Model Number whirlpool dryer LER4634PQ0 My dryer will not shut off on its own on any setting. The timer advances to the cool down section but will not click off. I replaced the timer but the problem persists. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you
Answer Hello Steve. Test and see if there is power coming to the timer motor on the timer. If there is power there, and the motor does not advance, you will need to replace the timer WP8299778 on the unit.You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
