Cj for Model Number Whirlpool ED5HVEXVB02 Every morning, items in our freezer have begun thawing out. Two weeks ago a tech came and replaced freezer door gasket (definitely) and thermostat (I think). Problem persisted. We replaced the defrost timer. Problem persisted. Any idea what else might be going on? Thanks!
Answer CJ, it would be recommended that the evaporator is inspected for a full frost pattern. If the evaporator does not have a light frost coating on all of the evaporator coils after 1 hour of compressor run time, there is a sealed system failure (if the condenser coils are clean).
