Jay for Model Number KTRS22MXAL20 If my diffuser won't open but the fridge is running, is that likely the defrost timer? I replaced the evaporator fan and motor which got the freezer blowing cold again but the diffuser down in the fridge doesn't open so it takes a long time for things to cool down there. I just don't want to spend a ton of money replacing parts that are fine with how old the fridge is.

As this is the case, a broken connector on the diffuser, a broken connector rod, pivot arm, or other component could be the cause of failure.
