Carl for Model Number LSR8433KQ0 My washer quit running after the wash cycle control knob was making rapid clicking/humming sounds but not advancing to next stage. Also I cannot get the machine to spin or pump water, is timer bad ?
Answer Carl, The clicking humming and no advance would be a faulty timer WP3948852. The no spin or drain, is most likely an issue in the timer, but you should also check the lid switch 3949247V as well. If the switch doesn't have a closed circuit when the lid is down / closed, the washer motor can't reverse and drain or spin the tub. Read More...
