Todd B for Model Number sawx650jqo I have a washer that stops at the drain cycle. It will start and run the fill and agitate mode but stops at the drain/rinse function. The tub is full of water. The timer does not seem to advance and there is no sound coming from the machine. (I would think that if the motor or pump had stalled it might make a electrical buzz or noise). Could this be a timer issue? Is there a way to troubleshoot the timer considering the replacement cost?
Answer Hello Todd. You will need to check the lid switch 3949247V and see if it is broke or bad. If so, it can cause the problems your having. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps.http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
