John for Model Number Whirlpool top load direct driver washer The washer was not draining in the rinse cycle. Agitates but clicks an buzzes in the drain cuylce. does not progress. - I checked for any clogs in the drain lines and house pluming in or house lines. - I bypassed the lid switch to make sure it is working - drained the tub and all lines - removed the washer cover. removed the pump cover, no obstructions in the pump. - replaced pump, Main motor Drive shaft spins and pump spins. - reconnected the control panel. The unit will agitates and NOW will spin, presumable b/c no water in the tub. Is the timer BAD? I do not think it is the pump because no electrical parts on the pump. old model washer approx 2006
