Kim F. for Model Number PAV3240AWW I am getting a lot of noise from the timer area. The sound it is making is like that of a bearing going bad. The wash stopped in mid-cycle and I could not get it to work again. I then started smelling hot wires and/or switch. Since everythhing seems to be confined to the timer, I was going to just replace it. Am I on the right track? Second.. how does the spin nob come off of the timer shaft? Thanks!
Answer Hello Kim, Although you could open the unit and smell of the timer to ensure this is where the smell is originating, I still think you have the right idea and changing the timer WP21001595 will most likely correct the issue.
