Brenda for Model Number LAT9806AAE Serial #11362964 What would happen if I replaced my timer with part #22002190? What's the difference between 22001695 as opposed to 22002190?
Answer Hello Brenda, Timers are different because when the contacts inside them close, they send voltage to different components on the unit to cause different cycles to operate. No two timers that are not crosses to one another are interchangeable unless you change all of the related parts on the unit out also. This in effect would make your unit a different model number with different cycle features. To answer your question, there is no way of knowing what your unit would do if the wrong timer were installed. It could even cause a possible flood situation. If you wanted to see the exact difference between the two timers, you would need the tech sheets from each of the units and compare the time charts and the wiring diagrams. This would show the differences. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, January 10, 2014
