Ed S for Model Number LAT8816AAE I turn the knob to regular setting to start the wash cycle. I pull up on the nob to start. the machine goes through the wash, rinse but not the spin , however dial continues to move till it gets to the stop position. I can lift up on the knob while it is in the spin mode and machine will start spinning and remove the water. Same problem also in the Perma Press cycle. Not in hand cycle. What could be causing this?
Answer Ed, The issue that you are having sounds like there may be a stuck contact in the timer that is not allowing the spin contact to make when running through the full cycle.
