Penny for Model Number sav515deww Hello, my washer is about 6 to 7 yrs. old. It has stopped working on two of the cycles. My daughter without knowing washed some clothes while we were out of town, when we came home the washer was still full of water and the cycle she washed the clothes on was still running about 6 hrs. later. Thanks goodness it didn't flood my house or burn up. The washer was hot to the touch though. It is almost like the timer or something the dial never moves from the set spot except on the wrinkle free cycle and one other, I only wash on those at this time, and there is never a problem then. What does this sound like to you? Also , how difficult for a layman to change out the part? Thanks Penny
Answer Hello Penny. Based on the model number you provided, it sounds like the timer WP27001113 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, September 19, 2011
