Answer Patrick, it is a remote possibility for the timer to be the issue, but not likely. Since you replaced the belt, did you check and clean the idler pulley, idler lever and properly adjust the idler tension spring? check the motor and motor mount to make sure they're mounted proper and tight, and not flexing. Did you check between the two baskets for a small article stuck between them? If all's OK, then you will need to check the brake rotor brake pads and washers/spacers to make sure they aren't "dragging" or holding the tub from spinning. Read More...
