Answer Ruth, Correct, your dryer doesn't have an access panel on the back of the machine. To replace the timer, you have to enter through the front control panel. Remove power to the dryer, on the top of the control panel front trim, you'll see two(2) phillips head screws on each corner. Remove the two inner screws on each corner, and pull the top out towards you. You'll need to remove the center of the timer knob with a small flat blade screwdriver, remove the nut holding the knob and skirt to the timer shaft, the remove the two 1/4 in. hex head screws holding the timer to the control panel. and slide the timer out the back of the panel. Reverse the procedure and test the dryer for operation. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, November 4, 2014
