Stu for Model Number Maytag Dryer Model # mdg8400aww Need new timer ,as off- on switch does not work, replaced timer with new part that should have worked, but now dryer does start and stop ,but timer will not advance through cycles. Please don't tell me I also need to replace complete wire harness too! That is just wrong, for a company that makes Maytag, and or Whirlpool to make customer change harness just because of a lousy switch not working. Please advise! Dryer is only nine years old!! Thank you ! Mr. Stewart
