Bill for Model Number LDG5004AAW Maytag Heavy Duty model # LDG5004AAW will heat and dry, however on occasion it will not shut off and will continue to run and heat. Does it sound like the timer, and maybe if I clean it a little? Any suggestions or ideas, hate to purchase a new timer if that is not the solution, however there are not to many other items it can be. Thanks.
Answer Bill, This issue may be caused by a stuck start switch. You will want to test the switch for continuity and if it has continuity with the switch not being pushed then it is faulty and would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, June 19, 2013
