Louis for Model Number ldg4914aae Everything on this dryer appears to be operating properly except that the timer does not advance to the off position during a drying cycle. It stays where I set it. Am I correct in assuming that the timer needs to be replaced?
Answer Hello Louis, The best way to determine if the timer motor has failed is to test from the orange wire on the timer to the white. Follow the two black wires from the timer motor to the terminals they attach to and you're there. There should be 120Vac across these terminals. Read More...
