Bill for Model Number lat9334aae My washing machine doesn't agitate.I've changed the belts,turned the pulley in one dirction and the tub spinned,turned the pulley in the opposite direction and the agitator turned.Is there anything else I can try? Thanks
Answer Bill, Does the motor run in the agitate mode ? does the motor move back and forth on the motor carriage assembly with the belts off ? Based on your post, everything is mechanically, fine in the transmission. I've never seen a Maytag agitator strip out on the agitator shaft, but you may want to check there.
