Scott 2 things. First, where can I look on my washer to find the model number so I can make sure I get the right parts for the machine? Second, my washer continues to fill with water and will not stop no matter what wash level I set it to. I have taken the water level switch off and tested its continuity, however, I'm not familiar with when it should have continuity and when it should not. The part number I have found that fits my machine is 3366847. Do I need to replace this part or could there be something else causing the problem? It will not cycle out of the filling cycle on it's own. I can get the water to stop filling by shutting the machine off or manually turning the cycle knob to where it should be washing, but all it does is humm, it won't wash. It also will not drain when I put it in the drain cycle. I'd like to be sure that I replace just the part I need to replace. Thanks.
Answer Hello Scott. If you can stop the water from entering the machine by turning off the timer or unplugging the unit, you will need to look for a bad pressure hose or replace the pressure switch. If the only way to shut off the water is at the shut off for the water hoses, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit.
