Thomasr for Model Number Kenmore 110.20932992 Washer overflows too frequently. I saw your video. I am guessing I should replace the water level switch and hose. My wife says the switch doesn't always center/snap to one place or another. I replaced the motor coupling last summer an observed the hose was pretty gross looking. I also learned what happens when it becomes disconnected :-(. It's probably loose now after these years of heavy use. Question: Is whirlpool kit w10337780 a replacement? Does it include a four position switch replacing sears # 3366847? I assume the hose is a standard diameter. Thanks in advance.
Answer Hello ThomasR. If you can stop the water from entering the machine by turning off the timer or unplugging the unit, you will need to look for a bad pressure hose or replace the pressure switch. If the only way to shut off the water is at the shut off for the water hoses, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit. Read More...
